A huge thank you to the students of Henry Sibley High School in the ALMAS and SADD programs. They collected 120 pairs of shoes for Neighbors’ Clothes Closet.
Robert Hanson, their Spanish Teacher came along but was too shy to be on camera.
For more information on Almas, here is a dated story but you can learn a great deal.
Information on SADD is here. Natalie Bennett, President is pictured on the right.

We are pleased to announce that Neighbor’s Inc. will be hosting the From Everyday to Prom Day Fundraising Fashion Show at South Saint Paul High School’s Theater April 12, 2014 at 7pm.
After the show in 2012 yielded fantastic results, we have decided to take advantage of new opportunities and grow even bigger. This year, you will still see your favorite elements of a typical fashion show, but with a little twist: a fun and diverse selection of clothing and models, one of the hottest up-and-coming designers, musical stylings from local musicians, and door prizes, raffles, and much, much more. Our mission of promoting Neighbor’s Clothes Closet, local artists, and our own uniqueness and diversity remains a strong focus of ours as we continue our charity work in the Twin Cities area.
Director Kimberly Wilmes, a junior at South Saint Paul High School along with a crew of her fellow students and other professionals in the Fashion industry in the Twin Cities are committed to making this year’s production one to really remember and one to make a huge difference in the lives of those in our community. Kimberly was initially motivated in the fall of 2012 to give back to Neighbor’s Inc in particular because as an infant Neighbor’s aided her own family and she felt so strongly about giving back to those that helped her from the very start. After the success of her Design on a Dime Fashion Show, she was inspired to do it again and even better this time! When she is not at Speech Team practice, rehearsals for the spring play; 12 Angry Jurors, hosting at Angelo’s Italian Restaurant, or doing IB Homework, you can find her pecking away at her keyboard researching fashion trends or sifting through the racks and racks of clothes at Neighbors for that one show-worthy piece. Fashion is her passion and she hopes to show that through the upcoming show with the help of all her amazing volunteers.
Cost = $5 or $2 with five non-perishable food items or five gently used clothing items
